Changes to Louisiana’s DWI Law
The legal limit in Louisiana will change on September 30, 2003, from .10 to .08. While that may not look like a large change to some, it is. A person could possibly blow .08 with one mixed drink, glass of wine or beer in their system. It is important to designate a driver if you are out partying with friends, and to always know your rights if you are stopped by the police on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.
